Problem
Solo and small-firm litigators spread a case across six tools, so the record, research, analysis and first draft never stay connected.
What I built
A matter-aware workspace. Add the record (PDF, DOCX, DOC, TXT) and it extracts facts, parties, a chronology and legal issues. It researches authority across 9M+ court opinions, returning each result with its citation, jurisdiction, a relevance explanation and a fit score. Then it prepares an editable memo or brief.
Every citation must resolve to retrieved material, and the lawyer reviews everything.
Result
Built in 36 hours and placed 1st of 220+ competitors at the Duke AI Hackathon (Nov 2025), judged by 34+ professors and industry judges. Accepted into UNC's 1789 Student Venture Fund in March 2026. Now live in early access.
